"Cancellation of Order Without Reason"
I purchased three chairs, but they got cancelled immediately without any reason given. When I called, they asked what the chairs were intended for, which seemed odd since we’re a VAT registered business. Then they mentioned it was cancelled because of a pricing mistake.

There was no effort made on their part to fix the problem. The price hike wasn’t even that significant, and I’m really let down.

I’d suggest being careful or just steering clear.

"Top-Notch Customer Support & Great Product Guidance"
Had a fantastic experience with Jamie today, who took plenty of time to go over my options and the reasoning for each one. Everything clicked, and I picked up a ton of useful info. Jamie was super helpful, and working with Kirkhouse was a real treat. I’ll surely keep them in mind down the road since I got a completely personalized service.

"Furniture Ordered for Our Village Hall"
We ordered some furniture for our village hall and picked Kirkhouse since they could supply everything we needed in one go. Email seems to be the best way to communicate, and honestly, that makes things a lot simpler. There was quite a bit of back and forth to make sure we got just what we wanted, and Jamie was super helpful and patient throughout the process.

The items from Go-pak arrived first since they were ready-made. Everything was as expected, but there were some courier hiccups, which likely weren't Kirkhouse's fault. Big shoutout to the subcontractor courier who managed to find a missing piece and was really helpful with the delivery. Since our building is unstaffed, we need to be notified ahead of time for deliveries; there’s no reception, and our volunteers can’t just hang around all day waiting.

The custom items did take a bit longer than we thought they would, but that’s just the way things are right now. The delivery for those came from one of Kirkhouse's own drivers, and it was super efficient; we got a heads-up 24 hours in advance as promised, plus a call when they were on their way with half an hour's notice. The van showed up almost right on the dot, so no complaints there!

Overall, we’re really happy with our purchase, and we hope it’ll serve us well for many years ahead. I’d definitely consider using this company again.

"Chairs Made Simple to Purchase"
Placing the order was a breeze, and the customer support was top-notch. They kept me informed about the delivery status. The chairs are stylish and come in a variety of colors. We picked lime, which the kids adore, and they stack up nicely in our community center when we’re not using them. I’d surely shop with this company again.

"Service That’s Just Plain Shocking"
The service from this company is absolutely appalling, especially from their so-called sales manager. We placed an order back in March 2021, and here we are, almost at the end of September 2021, with no sign of our order being completed! I've had to keep following up, and we were given all sorts of promises about delivery dates that never happened. I've sent countless emails filled with excuses. If you can't deliver, then don’t claim you can. They’ve even changed the products we originally ordered without any notice.

As for the sales manager, Jamie, I’ve never encountered someone so rude and unhelpful. He refused to connect me with a director, insisting they would just back him up, so I couldn’t even get a chance to speak or email them. Jamie’s been with Kirkhouse for 23 years—maybe he’s gotten a bit too comfortable and thinks he knows everything while customers know nothing! He doesn’t return calls or reply to emails, and I’ve got proof of that!

Basically, Kirkhouse acts as a drop shipper for another UK company, Mogo, and they keep pointing fingers at them, the pandemic, shipping issues, and even the Suez Canal. If you can’t fulfill orders, then don’t give delivery dates that you can’t meet.

We’re a charity that received a grant for this £9000 order, but according to Jamie, they have bigger orders to deal with, so ours isn’t a priority! Mogo did send part of the order, but 32 chairs were the wrong color. I tried to get those swapped out and was promised 12 chairs on September 14th, but nothing showed up!

Honestly, I wouldn’t buy from this company again, even if they were giving stuff away for free!

"Crafted with Care"
It took a bit longer to get here than I was expecting, but considering we're in a global pandemic, it actually showed up pretty timely =) I'm really thrilled with the table and benches! The color is gorgeous - expertly crafted - couldn't be happier.

"Amazing service from Kirkhouse!"
What an incredible experience with Kirkhouse!

We were on the hunt for new seating for a beam frame in our launderette, but we had no clue about the chair model or brand.

Jamie from Kirkhouse requested some photos and was able to track down the suppliers in Italy. The replacements arrived at our place the very next week!

Big thanks to Jamie for being so clever and getting us such a quick solution. We couldn't be happier!

"An Awesome Online Store"
An awesome online store! I ordered a chair and it showed up in less than a day. The one I first picked wasn’t available, but they offered me a fancier option at no extra cost! The quality of the chair I got was top-notch. Sales Manager Jamie handled everything super fast and like a pro.

"Total letdown"
I got a call letting me know that the price had gone up since I placed my order, and now the chair would set me back an extra £40. So, they asked if I wanted to pay the difference or get my money back. You can probably guess what I picked.
